Today is the day! My new record, Swansea, is officially out in the world! I spent years making this album and gave it everything I have. Now it is your turn to take these songs and make them your own.
I wrote this record about various experiences I’ve had with loss – the loss of love, the ending of relationships, and the death of a friend. Swansea is my concept of a place – the place where we go when we lose someone. In the Swansea, we find ourselves faced with our own solitude and loneliness, but we also find strength in remembering how to stand on our own two feet. I hope that my songs bring you comfort and healing if that’s what you need, make you feel inspired, or move you in some way. This record was very therapeutic for me to write, and it is my greatest pleasure to pass it on to you today. I have never felt more proud of something that I made. Thank you for taking the time to listen, and thank you for your love! #lp3swansea

A very limited number of tickets are available for this intimate evening.
I am overjoyed to announce that my new album, Swansea, is complete and will be released this fall on October 11, 2019!
I am crying as I write this, because it is so overwhelming and cathartic to begin sharing something that I poured so much of myself into, and for so long. Swansea is deeply personal, and is about my experiences with various forms of loss, the solitude that comes with it, and finding strength in remembering how to stand on my own two feet. I started writing some of these songs as early as 2014, and have been dreaming up this record and working on it ever since. I had the honor and pleasure of collaborating with producer Nathan Yaccino, who helped me craft my music to sound like I always dreamed it would. Making Swansea was one of the most soul-fulfilling things I have ever done, and I am so grateful to you for being on this wild ride with me!
Please stay tuned for many announcements to come about pre-ordering the record, upcoming singles and videos, new shows, and all things Lemolo. And I invite you to sign up for my mailing list here so we can stay connected through it all. Here we go! #LP3swansea

Hello, my name is Meagan and I am the founder, songwriter, multi-instrumentalist, and #girlboss behind the Seattle-based dream pop project, Lemolo. Thank you for following me! I think I assume that everyone who is here has been here from the beginning. But that’s silly, because the beginning was ten years ago and social media hardly existed then. (Although my MySpace page was pretty hoppin’ in 2009!) If we have never met in person at a show or you are new to my music, I’d like to introduce myself and I can’t wait to connect with you here. And if you are one of those magical creatures who has been here with me from the beginning, hello, and I love and cherish you. You are ALL the reason why I am here and able to continue to make and release music after all of these years, and I am so grateful for that.
I’ve been really quiet on social media lately because I’ve been hard at work doing lots of creating – allowing myself to focus on what I’m making more fully. But the glorious time has come to turn outward and enter into a new chapter of sharing what I’ve been working on, and I can’t wait to dive in with you. I am equal parts thrilled and terrified, but I do believe that what I have to share is the best work I have ever made, which makes it all worth it. Are you with me?
